Verdant Symmetry is a 25 cm ceramic plate that radiates both technical mastery and visual serenity. Featuring a pierced openwork (Gitterarbeit) pattern with rhythmic, leafy motifs, it embodies the artist’s skill in creating balanced compositions through traditional ceramic techniques.

The plate’s surface is enriched by subtle embossing (Prägung), and its deep green and blue glazes offer an organic richness that invites tactile appreciation. The process involves two firings: a bisque firing at 900°C and a final glaze firing at 1080°C—each stage critical to achieving its strength, texture, and vibrant finish.
