Dova Gire Echo

Dova Gire Echo is a 25 cm ceramic plate adorned with colorful underglaze painting (Unterglasurmalerei), taking its design cues from the historic tilework of the Blue Mosque in Tabriz.

Encircling a deep emerald center, a rhythmic pattern of orange and violet blossoms flows across a black background. The vines create a circular motion—a visual metaphor for unity, renewal, and balance. The vibrant palette and precision evoke Persian artistry through both structural design and fluid form.

Fired twice—at 900°C for the initial bisque and 1080°C for the glaze—this work fuses heritage and contemporary craftsmanship.
